Abschiedsshow der Kafka-Comedy im Café Sartre
Friends of Kafka,
The time is fast approaching when I depart this blessed city for a new
life conjugating verbs and tracing noun etymologies in Freiburg, South
Germany. But before I go there’s time for one last hurrah: the
farewell show of my flagship German/English comedy evening Kafka
Comedy, riding off into the sunset with a Valentine’s day special this Thursday night.
And what a bill we have for you:
Candi Girl aka Jacinta Nandi, star of English Theatre superstars My
English Class; MC Jabber, a pedigree performance poet giving us his
first gig in Berlin since his permanent move here and – so
jaw-droppingly I can hardly believe I’m writing this – Sanjay Shihora,
owner of Berlin’s first and most prestigious comedy club the Kookabura
and an international star of stage and screen! All of these will be
cramming into Berlin’s Café Sartre to pay tribute to Franz Kafka’s
genius – and who knows, maybe the little man himself might just show
up…
Cheaper than the Berlinale!
